The Shanghairen

The Shanghairen is a collaborative project gathering dozens of emerging and confirmed talents from Shanghai and the rest of the World. It's a tribute to the famous covers of "The New Yorker", "The Parisianer", "The Tokyoiter" and "Le Montrealer". All artists are given full freedom of style and topics to express their vision of the city.
I focused on one of the quieter moments in this beehive of a city. Taking a ferry over the Huanpu river gives you a nice breather and a bit of a view.
